Membership terms

Draft for review by counsel — last updated October 2026

This is a working draft prepared for legal review. It sets out how membership of Founders Circle Philippines works.

1. About these terms

These terms govern membership of Founders Circle Philippines ("Founders Circle", "we", "us") and your use of this website and the member app. By applying for or holding a membership, you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.

2. Membership by application

Membership is open to individuals by application. Our staff review every application and may approve, waitlist or decline it at their discretion. Approval is personal to you and cannot be transferred. You agree that the details you give us are accurate and that you will keep your profile up to date.

Applying is free. If you are approved, we email you an activation link to set your password and pay the annual fee.

3. Tiers, fees and term

  • Standard: ₱2,500 per membership year.
  • VIP Elite: ₱5,999 per membership year.

Fees are in Philippine pesos and are paid online through HitPay or by InstaPay bank transfer with a receipt. Your membership becomes active when we confirm payment, and runs for 12 months from that date. Fees for a membership year are not refundable once the membership is active, except where the law requires otherwise. We may change fees for future membership years and will tell you before your renewal.

4. Renewal and upgrades

Memberships do not renew automatically. Before your membership year ends, you can renew from the app by paying the fee for the next year. If you do not renew, your access to member-only features ends when the year ends; you can renew later from the same account. Standard members can ask to move to VIP Elite by contacting us.

5. VIP Elite allowances

Each VIP Elite membership year includes:

  • up to 6 concierge requests;
  • 1 business assessment, run with our expert partners; and
  • up to 4 introductions to other members, made by our staff.

Allowances reset at the start of each membership year and unused allowances do not carry over. We handle requests on a reasonable efforts basis and may decline a request that is unlawful, unsafe or outside the scope of the service. Third-party costs (such as purchases or bookings made for you) are yours to pay. Introductions depend on the other member agreeing to be introduced.

6. Partner benefits and member offers

Partner benefits are provided by third parties, not by Founders Circle. Each partner sets its own conditions, and a benefit may change, run out or end at any time. Some benefits are available only to VIP Elite members. Any purchase you make through a benefit is a contract between you and the partner.

Member offers are posted by members for other members. We review offers before they are published, but the offer and any resulting deal are between the members involved. Members who post offers must honour them as described and may post only offers they are entitled to make.

7. Code of conduct

Founders Circle works because members trust each other. As a member you agree to:

  • treat members, guests, partners and staff with respect, online and at events;
  • use the member directory and introductions for genuine business purposes, not for unsolicited mass selling or spam;
  • keep other members' contact details and anything shared in confidence private;
  • not misrepresent yourself, your company or your offers; and
  • follow venue rules and the law at every event.

8. Your QR pass and events

Your QR pass identifies you as a member and is for your use only. Do not share it, screenshot it for others or let anyone else use it. Event places are subject to capacity, and some events (such as Circle Dinners) are for VIP Elite members. RSVPs are checked at the door by scanning your pass. We may refuse entry to anyone whose pass does not match their identity, or whose conduct breaks these terms. Event details can change; we will tell RSVP'd members as early as we can.

9. Suspension and termination

You can end your membership at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or end a membership, without refund, if a member breaks these terms, misuses a benefit or QR pass, or acts in a way that puts other members, partners or staff at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

10. Liability

We provide the website, app and membership with care, but on an "as available" basis. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of partners or other members, for changes to or withdrawal of third-party benefits, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any membership year is limited to the fee you paid for that year. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.

11. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms as the membership evolves. We will post the new version here and tell members about material changes before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts of Metro Manila will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have.
